Jessica Evans, a North Carolina native, has been with Tharrington Smith since 2005. She received her Associates degree in Applied Science with course studies in Paralegal Technology from Johnston Community College in 2006. While in school, she was the vice-president of the Paralegal Club. Ms. Evans, a certified paralegal, works with the Family Law practice group and has been actively engaged in the Family Law field since her graduation while also spending some time with the Tharrington Smith Education Law group. Outside of the firm, Ms. Evans has also served as a family law paralegal instructor at Johnston Community College.
Ms. Evans is an avid photographer and spends much of her spare time with a personal photography business. She also enjoys traveling, crafts, skiing, going to the beach and cooking. In fact, she has been learning to cook low-protein foods for her daughter who has a special diet due to Phenylketonuria (PKU) metabolic disorder. She’s even organizing a 5K marathon to help cure PKU.
