Biography

Evan Horwitz is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law, a Certified Family Financial Mediator, and Arbitrator. Evan earned an undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1997 and his law degree from the Norman A. Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2001. After law school, Evan served as a law clerk to North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Robert F. Orr. He is a partner at Tharrington Smith, currently serves as the Chair of the Family Law Specialization Committee of the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, and was previously an Adjunct Professor at Campbell University School of Law teaching Family Law Planning.  Mr. Horwitz is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. He and his wife, Debbie, have two children.
