Caitlin B. Birckhead is an associate attorney at Tharrington Smith and practices exclusively in the area of family law. A Wake Forest University alumna all the way, Caitlin earned her Juris Doctor in 2019, a Master of Arts in Psychology in 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors in 2014. While attending law school, Caitlin served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board, Symposium Editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy, and was a student in the Child Advocacy Clinic. She joined Tharrington Smith in 2019. Caitlin is a national member of the Order of the Barristers, having exhibited excellence and attained high honor through the art of courtroom advocacy. She is a member of the Wake County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. When not practicing law, Caitlin enjoys swimming, reading, traveling, and exploring Raleigh with her dog Josie Mae.
