“All in all, Hill is the complete package.”
Hill Allen enjoys a sophisticated trial practice handling a broad range of complex civil litigation and white collar criminal defense. Hill is a North Carolina native and attended the North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UNC-Chapel Hill and earned his law degree from UVA in 1992. After several years practicing with a national firm, he joined Tharrington Smith to work with famed trial lawyers Wade and Roger Smith. Over several decades, Hill has handled high-profile cases and solved difficult problems for everyone from statewide public officials to Fortune 100 companies to business executives and professionals charged or under investigation to the families of those killed in aviation, workplace and automobile accidents. His work has taken him across the country and as far away as Russia and Israel.
Hill is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in North Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He has previously taught at the NITA Southeast Trial Skills program. Among other community involvement, Hill has served as Counsel to the Board of Capital Area Soccer League (now NCFC), one of the largest soccer clubs in the nation, and is a past co-chair of the Enloe High School PTA Ways and Means Committee.
