Carollyn brings a strong foundation in family law, built through her work at the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic and internships at Dobson Law Firm and Hutchens Law Firm. She has extensive experience in client interaction, legal research, and trial preparation, giving her an exceptional foundation in family law. With a J.D. from Campbell University School of Law and a proven record of excellence, Carollyn is known for her compassionate approach and meticulous legal strategy. Her dedication to advocacy and client support makes her a valuable addition to our team. Carollyn remarked, “I was drawn to Tharrington Smith because of the strong mentors here. I look forward to learning and growing as an attorney under their guidance to best serve our community.”
Lauren brings a diverse professional background to our firm, including roles as a retail associate, caregiver, and various legal internships. After graduating from Belmont University, Lauren gained valuable experience as a legislative intern with MNA Government Relations in Nashville, TN, and as a legal intern at the Public Defender’s Office in Tennessee’s 3rd Judicial District. Lauren also worked as an accounting assistant at a political consulting firm in Austin, TX, before attending Wake Forest University School of Law. At Wake Forest, she was recognized for her pro bono contributions and achievements in legal competitions. Lauren noted, Tharrington Smith’s reputation for excellence and client care attracted me. I look forward to leveraging my diverse background and experience with the goal of becoming a mediator in the future, enhancing support for families in conflict.”
