Prosecutors announced this week that they were dismissing all 5 felony tax counts that had been filed against a North Carolina taxpayer. The taxpayer’s attorney was able to successfully convince the prosecutors that the alleged criminal conduct was in fact entirely lawful. The taxpayer was represented by Douglas E. Kingsbery of Tharrington Smith, LLP.
