Tharrington Smith family law attorney, Lynn P. Burleson, was recently honored by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers at their annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois, with a special President’s Award for his work in developing the AAML Model Family Law Arbitration Act and for his “…efforts in forwarding the goals of the Academy.” He was also appointed by the North Carolina Chapter to serve a one-year term as Chapter Delegate to the national Board of Governors.
