Special Agents from the Criminal Investigation Section of the NC Department of Revenue announced today that a NC business owner under investigation for embezzlement of NC Sales and Use Taxes would be spared prosecution of those charges. The business owner was represented by Douglas E. Kingsbery of Tharrington Smith, LLP.
