Cyclists Wade Smith and Lynn Burleson just completed the 20th Annual Bike MS tour in New Bern. Wade and Lynn ride for the Selma Cyclepaths team and together they have pedaled in eighteen MS tours. This year they each rode one hundred fifty miles during this two-day event. For the fourth consecutive year, the Cyclepaths are the top fundraising team of the tour, raising $100,033 toward the event total of over $1.5 million. The goal of the cyclists is to create a world free of MS.  With 2000 cyclists and 300 volunteers, Wade was among the top ten individual fundraisers and Lynn was among the top twenty. Tharrington Smith has been a proud contributor the the Cyclepaths and to the MS bike tour for a number of years. While this tour is held in New Bern each year, over 70% of the participating cyclists are from the Triangle.
