Meet Jonathan T. Dickerson
Jonathan is a native of North Carolina with deep-rooted ties to his small-town upbringing. After working with a non-profit organization and a recruiting firm, he pursued law school to better represent clients in court, aiming to help them navigate potential risks and outcomes in the legal system. Jonathan is excited to contribute to litigation matters for school systems, institutions he views as crucial to community well-being.
Before joining Tharrington Smith, Jonathan worked as an associate at a litigation boutique in Chapel Hill, where he represented both consumers and businesses. He remains connected to his eastern North Carolina roots through his involvement with the Bertie Business Network, advising small business owners, and by mentoring students in Durham’s public schools.
Jonathan lives in Durham with his wife, a teacher, and their son. In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding, longboarding, running, and exploring new construction sites with his son.
