Special Agents from the Criminal Investigations Section of the NC Department of Revenue announced that they had closed their investigation of a North Carolina business owner. The owner was suspected of embezzling N.C. Sales and Use Taxes collected over a three year period. The business owner was represented by Douglas E. Kingsbery of Tharrington Smith, LLP.
