Special Agents from the IRS Criminal Investigation Division have notified a North Carolina woman that they are dropping their criminal investigation of her tax preparation business. The agents had investigated the case for more than eleven months and had served multiple federal grand jury subpoenas. The woman was represented by Douglas E. Kingsbery of Tharrington Smith, LLP.
