Raleigh, N.C., September 25, 2023 – Tharrington Smith, LLP is thrilled to announce the addition of Clare Poston to their staff of attorneys. Poston returns to the firm after two consecutive years as a summer clerk, dedicating her knowledge, diligence and legal expertise to the many clients of their family law practice.
Before receiving her Juris Doctor from the Campbell University School of Law, where she graduated with honors, Poston served in the North Carolina Court of Appeals through a school externship and as an intern in both the Wake County District Attorney’s Office and the Wake County Public Defender’s Office. Her legal experience is supported by a strong history of public service; she represented victims of domestic violence as a managing partner with the Domestic Violence Advocacy Project in Raleigh, North Carolina. In addition, Poston possesses a rich background in communications, digital strategy and program coordination.
